In connection with the emergence of new strains of SARS – CoV – 2, the sensitivity of the currently existing kits of reagents to new variants is an urgent issue. The variability of a virus is related to its evolution. According to WHO SARS-CoV-2 variant tracking data, new coronavirus variants are characterized by the presence of multiple mutations in the Spike gene.<\/p>\n

Reagent kits designed to detect – RNA SARS – CoV – 2 “ROSSAmed COVID-19 RT-PCR” and “ROSSAmed EXPRESS COVID 19 RT-PCR” by RT-PCR with real-time detection of results and a set of reagents “ROSSAmed COVID -19 ISOTHERM” based on the method of colorimetric, isothermal, loop amplification contains primers and fluorescent probes specific for fragments of the ORFlab, E and N genes of the SARS CoV – 2 coronavirus genome according to the reference sequence NC_045512.2.<\/p>\n

Enzymes of the SARS-CoV-2 genes, analyzed by ROSSA reagent kits, do not affect areas prone to mutations of Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Mu, Omicron, etc. strains.<\/p>\n
