Reagent Description
Designed to detect the DNA of herpes simplex virus types 1 and 2 in biological material: scraped-off mucous membranes of the urogenital tract, rectum, oral cavity, separated vesicular rashes (vesicles) and erosive-ulcerative lesions of the skin and mucous membranes, whole blood and liquor, prostate secretions, ejaculate, the first portion of morning urine, by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) in real time.
Compatibility with various types of amplifiers: "DTprime", "Dtlight", "DT-96 (NPO DNA Technology LLC); CFX96 (Bio-Rad); qTOWER (Analytik Jena); Rotor Gene 3000, 6000 (Corbett Research) and Rotor-Gene Q (QIAGEN).
