As an internal control, a lectin gene specific to the soybean genome (both transgenic and non-transgenic) is used, which allows you to determine the presence of soybean DNA in the test sample and control all stages of the PCR study.
The kit is designed for the detection of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) of plant origin in food products, food raw materials and animal feed using real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
The set of reagents allows to detect DNA sequences that are widely found in genetically modified plant lines, such as:
– Mosquito Mosaic Virus (P-FMV) promoter;
– cauliflower mosaic virus (P-35S) 35S sequence promoter; – terminator of the Agrobacterium tumefaciens (T-NOS) nopaline synthetase gene.
